About Our Church

Our Mission & Vision

Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church preaches the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ from sin, death, and the devil. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.” (Romans 1:16) We are saved from our sins, not because of anything we have done but because of Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross to save us from our sins.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16, NKJV

We believe the only way we can truly know of God is through the Bible which is without error. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16) Because of this, we cling to Christ with a childlike faith. We believe that through faith we will receive the gift of eternal life, and that good works and prayer are results of our faith in Christ.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Ephesians 2:8-9, NKJV
